In various fields of industry, Pearl Rotary Joints have been successfully used under variety of service conditions covering a wide range of materials, pressures, temperatures and rotation speeds.
Pearl Rotary Joints are used for supplying/discharging compressed or decompressed (below atmospheric pressure) fluid/gas from a fixed piping to the rotary section of various machines with no leak. For example, they can be used when a heat transfer medium such as
- Aluminum alloy is used for a casing. Installation to a roll is easy as this product is small and lightweight.
- As a grease-sealed ball bearings are used, greasing is not required.
- Due to low torque, a measure for preventing casing rotation is not required.
Fluid | Air / Gas / Water / Oil |
---|---|
Max. Pressure | 0.98MPa (142 psi) |
Max. Temperature | 100 degrees C (212 degrees F) |
Max. Rotation Speed | 6A to 25A 1500min-1 32A to 65A 1000min-1 |
* The lowest pressure when used under a pressure lower than atmospheric pressure is 1.3 kPa abs (10 Torr).
